FI Press is operating in a very specific, and neglected, niche of the book market: it publishes books that deal with subjects of business and economic actuality, which target a dual audience, the general, informed public as well as the academic, course-related required reading.

To fulfill this mission, FI Press commits to a fast, timely publication of books and a dynamic marketing of books to both market segments through general distribution in Canadian book stores and through its direct access to university professors in relevant fields.

In selecting authors for publication, FI Press screens manuscripts for:

  • The saliency and public concerns with the issues addressed in the proposed book;
  • The timeliness of the proposed book;
  • The relevance of the topic and the quality of its treatment for required or supplementary readings in specific university and college courses.
